? on private Lands hunting TPWD

I got picked for Anterless/Spike for Travis County Ranch (Barton Creek Habitat Reserve) and if there is not a section "Only Means Allowed" in the description, I assume you can hunt with bow and gun?

Also, has anyone ever hunted this area?

    Thanks!!

Not sure on Travis County Ranch, but congratulations! A lot of times once you accept the hunt they send you a one or two page description of the area with more details about times, allowable weapons, etc.

This is off the TPWD site

These Private Lands Deer Hunts will take place on private property and will be administered by the landowners. Selected applicants who accept their permit will be notified by email of ranch rules and the specific time and place they are to appear. Participants will be provided all of this information after accepting their permit.

I'm confused. Have they drawn any gun hunts yet? I thought this first round was for the archery only draw?

thanks guys. I accepted the permit but no where does it state allowable weapons. I will be calling Preserve Manager to find out that info.

I've done that hunt. I thought I remembered it being gun only.

I may have to put in for a few of the Deer either sex for Private Lands. I noticed a couple were mule deer. I'm assuming that the Grayson County Ranch is archery only(?)
