second set of drawn TPWD hunts due today

Where are you guys seeing the actual dates that they do the drawings? I can't seem to find it.

Last draw they did 1 day after the due date..

So if they do the same, they should draw tomorrow afternoon

You won't see the dates for the drawing. All they show you are the deadline dates. The draw dates are sometime after the deadline. With the new system, they draw pretty quick, like in a day or 2.

It just drives me nuts how sensitive people are about public land in Texas. You mention something about a specific area in shnf or make a thread about Amistad and everybody jumps down your throat like it's some giant secret and start talking about the good old days when they were the only hunter there, like they used to own the place or something..

Its even worse for duck hunter on public land. There's a FB group called southeast texas duck hunters and during duck season some of them on their can get downright ugly with each other!

I went ahead and put in for private land antlerless and either sex...all my other apps are in ..never put in for those before but one day may not have a lease and the pref points may come in handy so im hoping i just bought a point for the future,,,thanks for the reminder without it i wouldnt have given it a second thought

you have to log in and check status...it will say pending second drawing or not selected
