TPW hog hunts lets hear em

Just wanted to hear sucess stories on some of the hog hunts. I was a no draw this year.

I think they just drew these. Daughtrey hunt is in March.
I wasnt selected either.

Got the "pending second draw" selection...amazing! Mad Island here we come. I smoked 3 there last year but other hunters shot zero...

I didn't know you could get hog hunts outside deer season. Is there a website?

Where do you go to put in for a draw on these hunts? I'm assuming TPW home page?

All the hunts have been drawn for the year. Start looking in July and early August:

We got drawn a couple of years ago. We did our homework. Several scouting trips. Talked to hunters all over. We had the first choice of any unit. Our group was the only group that did not get a hog.

Try hunting standby. Almost every time I have been on a hog hunt on a WMA all of the standby hunters have been able to hunt. You would be surprised at the number of drawn hunters that do not show up.
