Hill country SNA GDE
First day update. Drew compartment 8 just down from the maintenance building. Set upon the edge of the big field. Saw about 10 total WT shot at 3, taking 2. 1 was ahead shot and miss in the tall grass. 1 was a mercy killing of pretty poor deer with a large cyst. I didn't keep it and it doesn't count as one of mine. Off To a good start. More to come

Congrats! We cleaned up on deer and pigs this year at my buddy's place. We have been taking culls and does for years and hope to get some good ones showing up during the day. Good luck.Comment

Quick update. 1 other doe shot from area 7 last night and a yearling from area 6 this am. Warming up and headed back out at 2. Deer should be hungryComment

Evening update. Got two more for the cooler so I'm tagged out for whitetail. One other WT doe killed this evening. 7 killed so far and I have 4. Gotta wait for axis and hogs now. More to comeComment

Tagged out with my other two doe last night. One bud has two the other has one down we should find in the am. 13 killed so far no hogs no exotics. One more hunt tomorrowComment
