Pardon the nube question, wanting to know how safe this method is hunting public land during rifle season using all the required hunter orange and if anyone here spot stalks rifle season.

What about ground blinds during rifle season? As on edge of a power line clearing?

I wouldn't consider it safe in most public areas. I also doubt it would be very successful either.
Ground blinds are fine if you're in a good location.

I have hunted public lands during rifle season, and I don't/won't do either of these things.
Ground blinds are fine, but not along a pipeline ROW. I avoid those. Too many crazies shooting down them for my taste.Comment
