i went out today after i shot me a doe yesterday to see if that decent buck would come back in so i can get a better look at him. I got in the pine tree at about 1230 i had put some doe estrous out just to see if a buck would come in. it was hot humid and windy. at about 615pm i was considering getting down as i have a long hike out to my truck, when i heard deer blowing at me. i pulled the origional can out and gave it 3 bleats as i new the deer were coming from the creek eating acorns and heading back to there bedding area. i heard them blowing again so i did 3 quick half bleats. i heard a twig pop and i looked to my right and noticed a huge bodied doe circling around. i had yardages pre marked so i new she was at 35 yrds. she got to 40 and i let her walk. the second doe came i eased up the barnett raptor xbow using easton magnum 2219 with a rage hypodermic 100 i squeezed the trigger and she dropped in her tracks, i seen her head pick up so i recocked and made sure she was down. then had to hike out to get the game cart then load her up and get her home.
Ihave really worked hard this year on all aspects of hunting ranging, map work tons of scouting. so far i took a youth opening weeekend and he shot his first deer, ive gotten my 2 does. out of the 13 hunts ive done 10 times ive had deer in bow range. to date ive only seen 2 shooter bucks which i let both walk.

i do my best to clean them up i took the orange off for a quick picture
