Official 2014 SHNF Contest

Official Contest Rules:

1. 3 man teams, team with most points at the end of the regular season(January 4) Wins

2. Animal must be taken in the Sam Houston National Forest

3. Animal must be taken with legal means abiding by all the tpwd and forest service laws.

4. Entry fee is optional, but only those contributing to the winners pot can take the winnings.

5. Winnings will be divided 3 ways per winning team, unless one or more on the winning team didn't contribute to the entry fee. In the case of no one on the winning team contributed, the winnings will go to the runner up team or members that contributed to the entry fee.

6. Scoring will be as follows:

Archery kill:
Does 50 points
Bucks 125 points
Spikes 75 points
Predators 75 points
Hogs 25 points

Rifle/Crossbow Kills:
Does 25 points
Bucks 62.5 points
Spikes 37.5
Predators 37.5 points
Hogs 12.5 points

7. For the points on a team to count a picture must be taken of the animal with a set of keys and the weapon used within the same picture, and it must be posted on this thread.

You weren't here at the beginning. No one was asked to be a part of any team. We all agreed to the rules, and put our name in a hat. It was a random draw.
