Nothing spells success like taking a buck/hog on public land. We all know how hard we work, hunt, and scout to tag an animal. So post'em up, fellers! Give the rest of us a little motivation!

Please don't list particular units for your own good.

I'll start it off:

Doe shot on opening day at LBJ, arguably the tuffest public land in Texas to tag a deer. 8 yard shot. 45# Ben Pearson recurve with 220 grain homemade trade points.
