How long??

So the deadline for many of the TPWD drawn hunts was today for rifle hunts. I am new to all of this so I have no idea how quickly it takes before they post the results. Anybody know?

There wasn't any adult rifle hunts due today I don't think. It's the 29 and 25.

Sorry, I put in for youth hunts. My kids have been after me to take them hunting since I shot my first deer last year. I have my fingers crossed that my girls will not be disappointed.

I'm betting on later today sometime. So far they've all been drawn at different times. My daughter is crossing her fingers.

Man my nephew went 0 for 16 hunts I put him in for dang no luck at all

Daughter drew one out of 9. Kickapoo Cavern either sex. She will be excited and so am I.

So, is there something wrong with the system? I got notifications that my kids got drawn for four youth hunts.

First time they have been drawn for deer hunts. They were drawn for Youth Management last week.

They got drawn for YDE at Richland and Atlanta and Y Antlerless/spike at the Chap and Fairfield. Not sure if you can go on two hunts in a category or not.

My daughter didn't get drawn but is "Pending 2nd draw" on both. If she doesn't get drawn, then may take her out of school for 2 days to go hunting with me and my dad. It will be a "learning" experience I tell my wife who said I can't take her out of school for 2 days.

We are up for 2nd draw as well but I am not holding my breath. I figure chances are really slim. I agree that deer hunting is a great education.
