i used to hunt there all the time before i moved to houston, still go atleast twice a year if only for squirrels. hunting isnt that good for deer, squirrels are tough, hogs are ok

You dont need to know where to start. Remember that it was everyone's first time at one point. Just pick a parking area and start walking.
