Turkey Hunting

Anyone know if there is any good public turkey hunting area for a rookie and his rookie father? We are in the spring area. We are both a little low on cash to pay to go hunt but both got our first bows together to be able to hunt together as a bonding thing. We are starting to bond now after 30yrs by practicing with the bows. Any information will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Shot my first Turkey last year it was awesome SCARED the Sh%%%T out of everybody in WAL MART but it was AWESOME

so I am thinking of going to Moore Plantation, need the city of pineland and yellow pine. Anyone know where in the forest area they may be. Will not have time to scout prior to hunt.
