I just checked again and two permits showed up...likely for each time I got the error message. Still no assigned hunting spot though.

I emailed the people at iSportsman and they called me a few minutes later asking for details about how I went about my transaction, apparently trying to track down what is going wrong, so that's encouraging. The guy I talked to said they will be working to get refunds sorted and remedy the unassigned hunting stand issue as well. The refunds may take a while because they are handled through a third party. Fun.

I hear ya. I'm surprised they wouldn't have someone monitoring a first run of this system, ready to support. Ok, I'm not surprised...I just think they should have had someone ready to support.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that isn't the main problem. Either way, it should null the transaction entirely if the stand is taken. It did not do that. It happily took my money, twice.
