Does any one know if the public hunts are still on…… I got my permit for a hunt a the Teniente Track in November and the deadline for the payment is Friday, I called the Santa Ana Wildlife refuge but the recording just says the park is closed with no other information should sent the payment, does anybody have any good info…….

I got picked for nilgai hunt on the east lake tract. Called and the recording said all activities have been cancelled cuz of the cuts but to go to website. Went to website and it doesnt say anything bout lrgv refuges. Guess if u got picked like me we are screwed.Comment

That is a good question, I guess It would have to open before the due date for payments. I hope it opens up, I drove by some of the refuge tracks today and saw barrier tape in the gates to let visitors know that the refuge is closed. I also saw some GW in the area.
