Bow fishing

Does anyone know if I need a hunting or fishing license or both to go bow fishing?

fishing license......... unless you shot any water animals.... beavers, nutria, etc. then you need both. If I am wrong on this someone correct me

As far as the hunting license goes, I am pretty sure that you don't need one unless you are hunting "game animals". I could be wrong, but I don't think anything you will be shooting is considered a game animal. I would check it out on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. You may not need anything.

all you need is just a fishing license to shoot FISH
