      Sent mine off 3.5 days before deadline but didn't get drawn.

        Same thing happened to me last year. I mailed my apps 9 days before deadline, found out they went from Victoria to Corpus to Houston to Austin. With logistics like that it's no wonder the Post Office is broke.

              Happened to us too, I think they just pick a number of them to take out of the drawing nad keep the entry fee to make a little extra scratch. I can see keeping the money (not that it is much) if you enter the card in the drawing, but if they are disqualified and you didn't have to do any processing, why keep the fee. Makes a person wonder? They should use the postmarked date - easier to track in my opinion.

                Well i guess i am not the only one that got disqualified. Same story gave it 8 days and still did not get there in time. UPS from now on!!!!

                  No, TPWD does NOT 'just pick a number of applications to take out of the drawing' - that would make the agency dishonest and untrustworthy and with it being one of the largest customer service agencies in Texas serving the public, that would give the agency both black eyes!

                  ALL applications are processed since all that come in must be entered for tracking and verification for the applicant and the public hunting program, none are tossed out for any reason.
