I'm going to A&M Galveston this year and I wont be able to do as much hunting anymore since our property wont be as close. I was wondering if anyone has any experience on public hunting around there. I'm not looking for any of your secret spots or anything just wondering where its legal to hunt (I'm guessing mostly duck?). I would be using a kayak. I haven't really looked into it much yet but was hoping someone would know what to expect...?

I know a lot of folks duck hunt west bay... I've never hunted there though. We hunt at Wallisville (which is a pretty good haul from the island)..

went there and graduated in '03. i do remember seeing pigs on the island at night sometimes but i don't think you can hunt there (of course if they don't see you go in or come out who would even know...
. just fished alot and hit all the bars with specials.
