If you have a boat go where others can't get to by foot, somewheres up in marshall creek would be a good place to start.

Boss, have you been to Grapevine lately? There's no place to put in at Marshall Creek. It's been closed for months.

After scouting this year for deer, to every deer tracks that we found, we found a dozen hog tracks. As soon as you park, you'll strat seeing hog sign after u walk about 300 yards in.

I have a shallow draft boat and couldn't hardly make it past the old Marshall Creek Park without kicking up tons of silt and stuff. (I understand it's been leased to Trophy Ridge or whatever that small Trophy place is).
I scared up lots of ducks but could never find a place to really put in and scout from the brush\Yaupon is so thick on the bank. Plus the huge houses backyards on the north side go right down to the bank and I doubt they'd want you putting in there either.
If you have a kayak or shallow draft canoe would be the best way to get back there up Marshall Creek.
                Just a suggestion.
Of course I didn't have the rest of the afternoon to look for another walk in entry way on the north side while I was towing a boat!

I'd love to do some hog shooting there before the snakes come back out!

Now that deer season's over we'll start hitting the hogs...no luck yet but we see them frequently.

I heard that most of the hogs were close to to the mouth of marshall creek.

                      Hogs?

May want to check the swim beaches once it warms up. Probably plents of hogs there.

Swim beaches are out of bounds for hunting, at least for four legged type of hogs. Ouch...
