Give him a bark or a low growl I bet he’ll stand up.

I got pinned by cows this morning and for like 10 min they just just like bellowed and huffed in my direction.

I’ve got it on good authority that horns hit the ground….

I knew he had some Karma coming in for delivery!

Sorry to keep yall waiting! What transpired after that bull finally stood was nothing short of incredible. The bull stood and immediately started heading further out. I whistled, yelled, then screamed and couldn’t get him to stop. He finally turned and stopped and I let one burn. He raised straight up on the shot then wheeled around trying to run out of there. I see his shoulder is completely busted and he quickly slows down. I thought for sure he was going to tip over but he didn’t. After bedding I reloaded and tried to move in closer but he got back up and made it to the brush line. Getting to the brush line there was no blood or bull. I started pushing through the brush thinking he couldn’t have gone far. Over an hour of walking around I assumed the worst and was completely deflated. Looking at my map, I saw one more area to check as I headed back. Walking through that area the brush suddenly explodes right beside me as the bull runs out. I run up to clear the brush and try for a shot. He was nearly in some thick brush when I touched another off, breaking his other good shoulder. He did a nose dive but continued to struggle. I reloaded and walked up for a better shot. He finally conceded and watched me walk up to finish it. Awesome bull.

I was in a new area, and looking at the map I was only a mile from the road, but it was a nasty mile. After getting the bull broke down solo I headed out with a super heavy load. What transpired next was the most difficult, miserable pack out ever lol. Being dark I couldn’t see a good path, and would end up in chest high grass with water underneath. I finally made it out, but knew another trip was out of the question. I only have another hindquarter and the head. I really want to shoulder mount the bull, but not sure the head and cape will survive the night. Quarter is on top of a post and hopefully high enough yotes can’t get it. Waking up early and heading back in!
