Not 100% sure this guy did the sd card theft and if he did it to see what was in area or because he was scared he wasnt wearing orange but either way. He shows up, camera quits working and sd card gone.

Been hunting this particular area years with no issues.
You know this cat took your card !
He saw the cam and couldn’t resist. I hate these bastages.

The mowed roads this year brought in a very large number of people, influx of duck hunters and random other people walking around with guns and no orange. I had duck hunters yell at me bow hunting in a tree 20ft up with no orange and here they are walking through woods with guns, obviously not duck hunting.

Also had a cat find my path through a thicket. He took the liberty to cut a highway then place orange ribbon and reflective tacks every 20ft. I made funny faces at his camera setup under his Lonewolf locking and Hawk helium sticks that were in a tree we cleared for early season does. Hopefully he stays there and doesn't go barraging around.

Got a younger buck with half a rack on cam this morning. So it looks like at least some of them are dropping antlers now for anyone who shed hunts

Last year they didn't drop till March/April. Still a little early yet.

That's super frustrating. I saw an uptick in guys hacking down trees left and right on public lands this year, and had multiple SD cards stolen as well. It's a real kick in the nuts when your camera is over a mile from anywhere and the SD card turns up missing.

I was out there yesterday to do a little scouting. Hogs are really tearing it up. Saw a few tracks and droppings. Have to get out there before the leaves get on the trees.
