What's a Good WMA for Squirrels Lately?

Didn't get out for upland enough with my dogs so I was thinking maybe a squirrel hunt was in order. Any suggestions?

Not a WMA but the old type II in Panola county. I think there is a May season there on squirrel. The locals call it Yellow Dog. It’s pretty much all River bottom land. Should be plenty of cat squirrels to chase.

There are some bottom lands in Alabama Creek and the surrounding NF. I think they are both open during May.

West TX. But I’ve already accepted that I’m gonna have to travel regardless.

Just be careful. There are squirrels that will leave their own nest to go hunting hunters. Evolution...I guess.
