Lake Brownwood SP Archery Hunt

I was drawn for an archery hunt at Brownwood SP. Does anyone have experience hunting there? Apparently there are only five hunters and they have blinds assigned. Does this mean that you cannot scout for your own spot? Will I be relegated to stay in the blind and spot that they provide? I am used to bringing my own stand and finding my own hunting spot. Even if it is in a designated area. Any intel would be appreciated,

Typically hunts by assigned blind are exactly that. You sit and hunt where they say. Some places even take you to and from your blind.

Numbers park wide were way down last year. It’s a small park but pretty cool. You are driven to your pop up by park staff. One is on the road to the park. It’s outside the gate but on park property. Cabins are available for rent to the drawn hunters. They have corn feeders in place. Also have a pretty nice covered cleaning shed with water.
