Odds should be 50/50 with no more golden tickets. That should also open more abandoned setups with more annual turnover.

I asked about stand-by, this was their response.
"Thank you for your inquiry. There will be no second draw for stand-bye hunting permits."

I'm normally not one to complain, but this is the first time in 11 years I've applied and was not selected. Usually because I was exempt.

I give this hunt 5-7 years tops before they cancel the whole thing. Too much development in the area and too many other recreationist to compete with. The office doesn't want or care to deal with the hassle of the hunt program
