Hunting lake whitney

I'm new to hunting public land at lake whitney. I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on some good areas to hunt? I really appreciate the help!

Any place at Whitney is a good place if you are willing to put in the work. I like to get away from everybody, so I will walk in for about an hour or two and find a place were I don't see that anybodys been in the area. I like the thicker stuff because when theres a lot of people the deer tend to stay in the tight cover alot more. At lest that's MHO.
