Anyone else been out there? What were your thoughts or experiences? To me it looks like they havent done any property management this year at all.

First year to hunt out there, but did some scouting last weekend. Saw two turkeys, but could not tell you if they had done much management. I was scouting areas along a heavy forested creek off of hwy 96. I know off of Hwy 201 they must have done some burning of the underbrush since it is only a few feet high. -
I believe they did that burning sometime before last season as there was no underbrush in the burned out area. I love hunting up there, just with they were taking better care of it this year.Comment

When I was out there last week I saw one turkey and a large doe.Comment

This year will be a learning year for me. I am curious about the hunting pressure that it receives, and the areas I am scouting now may not be the best choice once opening day arrives. Hopeing to find more seclueded areas.Comment
