The rules are posted on the thread started about it. I'm thinking steel creek is gonna be the best for boat launch.

I'll go check out all the ramps tomorrow and see what everything has done cause all the rain.

You can't make out of Steele creek. Ramps good but can't make it out of the cove.

Whitney is only 12 feet low as of this morning and still rising.

The W lake is less than 11ft below conservation now. Looking much better! . This is a great gain since the near -17 foot deviation we had back in Dec. Two more feet and I bet "all" the ramps will open again.

                  Current Elevation 522.31

                  Normal Elevation 533.00

TO, Steele Creek Park has two boat ramps: 1 on the creek side that your talking about; and 1 on the river side that has been the only one open by ACE in the north part of the lake. The river side one will take you up river, or you can go around the point down to the lake. It is the one everyone has been using . Last week, the "No Wake" buoys on the creek side of the park were sitting in mud and almost laying down. But with this rain, I bet they are standing now . And I also bet that I can now get out of the cove too !

http://wiid.twdb.state.tx.us/ims/res...lakeStatus.asp - Here's a link to Texas Water Dev. Board for current lake levels for the state, it's looking good with all the runoff still flowing.

It should only get better. They are letting a bunch of water out of Granbury @15k cfs. prior to the rain is was 4.84ft and @31cfs, I'd bet it's rushing down the Brazos. The Nolan has almost shut down.

You should be able to put a boat in except at Kimble Bend, maybe the Nolan River ramp. You may be able to make it across the flat to the Nolan River boat ramp.
