    Question for the NF hunters!

How do yall hunt around the prescribed burn areas and how do they factor into your plans? Are they a good area to set up in? It seems like the deer would feed on the fresh stuff after they burn an area...? This is my first year to hunt NF so the burned areas are completely new to me! Thanks!

If it rains on the burned areas , they will be the hottest feeding areas on the place. If it doesn't, keep the feeders going because they are gonna need it.

Don't do this! Feeding on national forest land is against the law.

I have hunted the national forest for years and will not hunt anywhere that hasn't been burned or logged in the last couple of years. Recently logged areas are my favorite but burned areas are a close second.

I have killed animals less than 2 months after being burned. I will say this, the deer are very difficult to see next to all the brown left over from the burns. I love them burning. Now if we can just get some rain it will be great.
