I second Alazan. Been out there almost a dozen times in the past two years and had deer within shooting range almost every time.

I used to hunt Alazan Bayou all the time. Saw a huge buck the first year it opened for public hunting. I used to hunt the west side close to the SFA Experimental Forest.

Good info how's the land good for climbers??

Some areas are better than others, but you can find a climbable tree pretty close regardless of where you are (except in the field in front of course).
