Where do you go to get aps for georgetown? im looking to hunt some public land this year. Way to many people trying to hunt small areas here at fort hood! and leasing a ranch is way to expensive!

I do enough public land bow hunting... figured its about time for my to get on these forums. I applied yesterday about 2:00 and I was #96.

Do you feel that 100 hunters is a little too crowded. There are not that many spots with public access.

I had no competition where I was, but I didn't see anything I could shoot until the last weekend. My buddy was in a good spot but he had 3 others in close proximity who stomped all over the place and constantly made noise.

It would be cool if the COE would negotiate with home owners to allow more access so we could spread out more.
