Dont move. I'm in 9 too. I only had a doe and a fawn come to my set up at first and about two weeks ago two new fawns showed up and another doe. The deer will move when the rut starts heating up. Patients it's a long season.

Sounds good... I spooked 2 small doe headed back to the truck Sat, night.
It seems that my blind is almost water proof. Just had a little water seepage from the seams.

This is my first year to hunt G-Town too so im not familiar with that place but I did hunt central last season and found some info online about the central texas rut the last few years...

2012 - ??? I say around Thanksgiving.

2011 - Heat Stroke

2010 - Nov 20-22 Peak rut

2009 - Nov 22 , next bred cycle was about 25-30 days later

2008 - Oct 28

2007 - Nov 7

Im sure some of the locals know for sure. Hope they will chime in on this too.

15 buck and 72 doe tags initially. I'm not sure how many have been filled.
