So every time i check the weather the low for Friday night into Saturday morning keeps dropping.

We are now down to 58, its gunna be an awesome morning on Saturday!

Hey boys, I know most of yall are hunting the lake but I thought would throw a bone, saw an ad for a lease on craigslist out past the lake 125 acres private, archery only, 1000.00 lease per year..I know yall ain't paying much but maybe u can pass on to a buddy who wasn't drawn..idk if it's mld or not....just saw it says need 2 hunters....fyi Chief......oh the ad says lake georgetown

A friend is on the lease, i am gonna get on it next season so i can take my daughter. Just fyi, if you dont have a 4x4 you will be walking a long way in on rocky terrain. 2wd is ok when dry, i took my 2wd silverado but spun alot. Would need a 4wd if it rained any at all

We can shoot until their tags run out as long as you kill a doe or spike before you kill a forked horn buck

Actually it may not be that bad forecast is 56 at 6 am, 58 at 8:00 am so will be chilly early when I am out there.

I will be camping at Jim Hogg Park so if you park in the boat parking there I can check on it a few times before I hit the sack.

Others have done this in the past I have never heard of any issues.
