I will be camping at Jim Hogg. Official sunrise is 7:23 so I am thinking I will be in my blind by 6:30 am. Maybe a little earlier.

Bow Hunters Prayer

Clean Kill or No Kill, Lord

O Lord, I am a hunter
And life I seek to take
But let me not attempt the shot
Beyond my skill to make
For Lord they are your creatures
Given for our use
But each one falls within your sight
They're not for our abuse
And when I loose my arrow
Please guide it swift and true

Give me the skill to make it so

Went out today and checked game cams, added corn, protein block, deer cane. Done till opener. Hope I don't run into this cat on my way to the blind pun intended.

I assume the bobcat be considered varmint, thus not allowed?

I don't think Bobcats are allowed, however if it tries to take bite outta me i going to allow it.
