I was covered up in bucks from the start of season but no does. When the does finally started showing up and I killed one everything disappeared. I'm hoping the bucks decide to come back out....had a few nice shooters. The warm weather and wind isn't helping much. Tons of turkeys at my spot too.

Yeah. Never seen this many bucks out here before. Had one HUGE 8 point within as close as 8 yards at the end of October I had to pass on.. Several ineligible as well. Started to draw down on a buck that had about 18" spikes about 4 weeks ago. It was just standing around at 20 yards. Then noticed a it turned is head around just at the tip of the right side it split into a fork about an inch long! Yikes!
Lots of weird shaped small antler bucks that should really be culled. The does seem to... be psychic though in their ability to avoid presenting a shot.

I was not sure doeboy11, so I let it go, I held off and I checked the TP&WD annual on page 65 when I got home that day. One unbranched antler is a legal buck in Williamson county, but is not a spike. They even have pictures. But since I had not taken a doe or spike (no branched antlers) per corps rules, could not shoot. Right decision, but Very frustrating...after I get that doe or true spike, he is going down. I have had three separate chances at him so far. Thanks for your input though. I do appreciate it.

Is anyone seeing legal bucks during shooting hours? They're all coming in at night at my feeder. I'll trade spots for a buck opportunity, if someone needs a doe, of course you'll have to be escorted blindfolded to my spot:-)
I had 8 does at 10-15 yards for nearly an hour this evening....hunting again in the morning; maybe I'll shoot another doe (4th).

nothing moving
It seems that since gun started, nothing come around to the feeder any more. I think I put in at least 30 hours in the blind over the last 2-3 weeks and have not seen a single deer. Nothing on the camera either, except me checking the feeder. Ready to give up and take my stuff home.
