Yep, as it should be. I will have no problems killing 5-6 doe in my area, if I get drawn

In my past setup, sometimes, I had problems to get does come in. One spot always had several bucks, spikes around and they came to the feeder during legal time, but does always showed up during midnight and their visits were not constant. When Lake G. does not have "doe first" rule, I can "easily" get one during early season. After this rule is applied, I had to find a new spot which I had more chances to see does during legal time.

I usually set up in deep wood, far from parking lot, main road and hiking trails. It takes extra efforts to walk in and out. My primary idea is trying to be away from crowd. But, this strategy makes me more closer to buck's bedding. Does tend to stay away from this area, I guess. The spots I found which had more does were more close to the trail and is easy to access. Then, how to cooperate with other hunters becomes the main topic.

Ok guys. Just got word that the big wig is on vacation and that he needs to be present for the drawing. He'll be back at the office next Monday. So it won't be until then before we know something.
