Few from the zoo

Here are a couple I took at the zoo today. Critique please.

Looks like the lion is ready for a nap.

Could you give us some more info like camera, lens, and if you were in M, P, S, or A priority? Kinda hard from such small images but you have some nice composition of the lion and Macaw. I'd crop out a little of the foreground of the giraffe. In PS you can adjust the shadows on the giraffe and macaw so there won't be so much contrast.

Next time on the close up shots like the macaw you can use your flash for a little fill. Your colors look vibrant and great capture on the lion yawning. Did you get to hear him roar? I've been directly in front of him a few times when he roars and you can feel it in your chest it's so awesome.

The camera is a Canon XSI with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L
was shooting in AP I tried to adjust the contrast after I posted the pics, but still playing around with it. I will post a few more in a little bit. The lighting is not so good but the zoo doesnt open until 9 am so I had to use what I had. I never got to hear the lion roar. I will try to post the exif later today.
