He allowed me closer this evening and I had set a tripod in place an hour before showtime. I like the results.

Great job, Bill! Is that his regular perching spot? If so, maybe you could cut out that branch in the foreground in advance of his next portrait session.

Thanks David. He likes that tree but not necessarily always on that branch. In fact I believe the one in the fore ground is the one he is usually on.
