Thanks for the additional comments, folks. I use a mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens that I know how to use.

I love the pics and the birds. God was really showing out when he created those.

Just one of His vast specimens. I call the Painted bunting "God's rainbow bird" but I have seen photos on photography groups I'm part of and He sure wasn't holding back with spreading the color far and wide.

I had a male and female hooded mergansers in my pond behind the house about a month ago. They were the first hooded mergansers I have ever seen live in person and the first ducks I have ever seen in my pond. My phone pictures from 80 yards away don't do them justice.
