    Backyard sharp-shinned hawk - redo

Backyard shots of this juvenile sharp-shinned hawk. I watched it attempt to catch a Carolina chickadee in the snarl of coral honeysuckle. It was comical but allowed me to get a number of shots. The only thing hurt in the whole episode was the hawk's pride.

    Excellent Pics!

My eye's shoot towards the detail on the eyes (might be human / animal nature) and the fogged out background- great work!

Dave, thanks for the comments. Always, always the eye in focus first even if everything else is a blur. When shooting single focus point it goes on the eye. Thanks for looking.

Awesome pics Bill, these suckers hunt my bird feeders in the backyard. I find remnants of doves all the time.
