A female. Taken the same day as the ones in the
Raptor thread
. Evening glow was right. This bird flew straight at me before making a turn. I was watching the owl from the other thread when this happened.

My best advice is not to look at photo's by Bill M. They just make you feel inferior, inept, etc.
