My vote... Canon 70 - 200 f4 L if you really want a zoom.

I have the 70-200 (see above) looking to get a little more reach. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great pics! Thanks for the review. Leaning toward the Sigma (if i decide to pull the trigger). May need to unload a lesser used lens from my collection first.
