    New Camera Questions

I posted this in the Campfire but it may be better here.

I am wanting to get another camera. My last one had an accident last year at Port A..........

I want to stay with Canon but upgrade to a better body than the Rebel that I started with. I am thinking 60D or 6D but was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.

This camera will be getting the 70-200 L with IS and want to make sure that I pick the right body with out breaking the bank.

My daughter plays travel softball, 3D archery as well as bowhunting.
I want a camera to video with as well as taking pics.

Any and all info is welcome.

    Thanks in advance,
    Kyle

I shoot with a 6D. It's an awesome camera for landscapes and portraits. Image quality is better than any crop sensor I've seen. With the 70-200 2.8 you can shoot usable video all the way till 30-45 mins after sunset. It is a low light beast.

If you're shooting mainly sports the autofocus will not be as good as a 7D, 7D mk II, or 70D (60D's replacement)

The 70D will be a good choice as well and with video autofocus it will make video much easier.
