    Tripod for Several Uses

I need to get a tripod, and I would prefer to have one for several different uses. I know nothing about them. The different uses would be:

    1. Spot and stalk hunting - Glassing from ridges for white tail with a spotting scope
    2. Wildlife photography with a Canon T5i and eventually a suitable large telephoto lense.
    3. Videoing deer at bow ranges out of a pop up with the Canon or a camcorder.

I guess I need something lightweight, sturdy, and adjustable? I don't really know.

When I went to WY for a hunt, I just used a Bogpod. I took the shooting rest off then attached a ball head from my heavier tripod. Then I used the quick connects, one for the shooting rest, and one attached to my camera.

It worked, but it wasn't the best. It was light, however, and fit in my back pack.

bog pod all day. with the switcheroo system you can get rifle rest, camera/spotting scope mount, bino mount, etc. takes a sec to pop one rest and change it out for another. the camera/spotting scope adapter has a pistol grip to change the angle up and down. if the blind we are huntin in small, i use my bog pod while filming hunts. takes up less room than my tripod.
