    Finally on Flickr

Spending time caring for my son has afforded me the opportunity to finally get off my rear and open a Flickr account. Many of the images have been sitting on memory cards or hard drives for over 10 years and have never seen the light of day. I'm thankful for the opportunity to share them with friends and family.

I'd love to hear what you all think, and any advice would be more than welcome, whether photography or on using Flickr. I'm really just getting started in understanding how it works.

    Here's the full photostream:

Explore john magera’s 1,463 photos on Flickr!

Can someone tell me the best way to link photos from there to here?

    Thanks.

    John

There is probably an easier way than this but this is how I do it.

Find the link to your pic on flickr. Then above click the yellow mountain and past the link to it.

There is probably an easier way than this but this is how I do it.

    [IMG]<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/129154345@N04/15753784042" title="fossilrimdeer by john magera, on Flickr"><img src="[/B]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7572/...99953213_s.jpg[B]" width="75" height="75" alt="fossilrimdeer"></a>[/IMG]

Then delete everything except for what is underlined and the image brackets

    Hit submit.

John, Randy, there is an easier way. Randy I was doing the same as you but you don't have to use the mountain anymore. Chose the little arrow pointing to the right on the right hand bottom of the picture. You choose the size you want to post and then choose bbcode, highlight the link and simple paste the link. That's it.

Name:	bbcode.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	26.2 KB
ID:	24343596

      What the bbcode looks like.

Name:	bbcode 2.jpg

      Photo from the bbcode.

Your welcome Mr. Dudley. Mr. Snakelover actually straightened me out on that. I think the reason you have the link showing prior to the photo is it is missing the beginning bracket. This one. [

If you want to get the title under the photo instead of on the side, put your cursor before it and hit enter. In your case Randy before the DSC.

If you mean the waterfalls, yes, even standing there it is hard to believe what you are seeing. I put them on the same level as the first time I saw the Grand Canyon. Just jaw dropping beautiful.
