17-55 F2.8 IS is the best choice for a crop lens. I wish they made L glass in that same range for a full frame camera with IS and F2.8.

On the search right now for a 17-55. Been beat out a few times on some other sites, but just waiting very impatiently for the right deal. After a lot of research, and advice I believe that is the best choice for my needs.

Good choice
