Photo Contest #107 - Introduction Thread - Light

This is not the thread to post your entry pics for this month. This is just the thread to introduce this month's them.

This month's contest theme is Light. Nothing makes a photograph better than an excellent use of light. The contrast of light and dark, the temperature or color hue of the light (warm, cold, etc.), the direction of the light.... The ways to capture light in a photograph are limited only by your imagination.

Use this thread to post some of your older photos that would fit this subject. I'll post the ENTRY thread later in the month. Only pics taken between today and June 30th will be eligible on the ENTRY thread, and only one entry per person there.
