    One Day...

First of all, let me admit that I haven't been a good poster lately. Between riding herd over a new website, changing from PC to Mac systems, doing some training and travel, and a massive storm that left my home with lots of damage, needless to say I've been busy.

However, I have managed to get out and shoot a few photos.

Here is a nice young buck I photographed yesterday. He ought to be a dandy if he makes it another two or three years.

    Thanks,

    Russell

Nice shots! I love the shallow depth of field.

(Bokeh...is that what kids are calling it these days?)

      Very cool images!

If it's not too much trouble, can you post your exif data??

I'm tryin' to learn, but my computer won't display that info

Great shots! I'd have to name him "Potential".

Hey, Rod, try downloading Opanda IExif. It works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Gives you the ability to view the EXIF data by right-clicking on a picture.

Russell, may I ask how you got so much blur in the background with the values Shane posted? The DOF seems extremely shallow for F8.

Thanks! I am always trying to learn.

#3 would be my pick also. These are great like always. He's going to be a heck of a deer in a few years.

Wow to 1000mm! What combo is that, a 500 w/2x?
