New Firmware for Nikon D300 Cameras

Nikon has released a new firmware version for the D300. This is to remedy a false dead battery reading. This occasionally occurs when some lenses are used. Primarily the 70-200 f2.8.

Maybe it address the +0.03 exposure on lock too

I'm not sure about that, but it will fix the dead battery syndrome. If the camera gets it, the camera shuts down. You have to switch off/on or in some cases, take the lens off and replace. It can get chronic, or so I've read.
