I would imagine anything less than 1 GB is not going to last a week. I use 4 &8 GB cards so that they can hold up to 5,000 pictures in case I can't make it to the ranch for a couple of weeks. Just my thinking though

I think you mean GB. I use the largest my device will hold. Trail cams im using 16Gb. My DLSR im using a 32gb class 10.

They also have a 30mb or 45mb or 90mb on them as well. Its for the speed it takes pics for moving action shots.

For my Rebel T3I I use a Sand disk pro rated at 90 mb/s. I've also used an sdhc at 30 mb/s. Really didn't notice a big difference.

Since this is posted in the photography forum I will assume you are referring to DSLR cameras....
Compact Flash - SanDisk Extreme - 16 GB - 60 MB/s
I use a fast card (60 MB/s) that can keep up with my camera's 6 frames per second speed.
