Bird Practice #2

I had some luck yesterday evening. Put away the tripod, cranked up the ISO and counted on the IS. Focusing seemed easier.
This male House Finch had a close call from an irritating sparrow. I had no idea until later what happened

Canon EF 70-300 f5.6 IS USM with a Kenko 1.5x TC. I think several folks here have that lens and as I understand it the Canon 1.4x TC won't work with it.

Av setting on camera with center dot AF.

I think these all were ISO 800
