    Cactus Blooms

I don't know why but I've always been interested in Cactus. It's cool to me that a plant can live in the harshest conditions and flourish there. Call me crazy I guess. I've always liked the South Texas brush country.

Wish they would bloom longer, seems they only last a few days

Those horse cripplers have always been my favorite cacti...out in starr co. some of our prickly pear has a real pretty orange/peach color that jumps out at you along with the more common yellow and pink.

It is kinda funny how you will pick up on all the different varities when they flower & then deck goes flat the next trip out.

I agree Artos. The horse crippler is a cool looking cactus!
