Lens Rental - Dallas

I'm aware of a few local places to rent a lens. Pretty expensive compared to this place http://www.cameralensrentals.com/shop/default.aspx and others.
Has anyone used a "mail order" rental service?

I read a lot of reviews on lenses but need to give them a try first before making B&H richer
